EuroMillions Superdraw Scheduled for 15th September

EuroMillions players will be able to dream of winning a €130 million jackpot on Friday 15th September after the date was announced for the next Superdraw.
Superdraws, sometimes also known as Megadraws, are scheduled from time-to-time throughout the year and raise the jackpot to a fixed amount regardless of whether or not anyone won in the previous draw. There has already been one this summer, when a UK player won €100 million on 30th June.
The money for a Superdraw comes from the EuroMillions Reserve Fund, a special Booster pot which ensures that minimum jackpots can always be paid. When there is enough money in reserve, it allows organisers to hold special events such as Superdraws with fantastic prizes.
If the jackpot is not won on the night in September, it will roll over and get even bigger for the following draw. Superdraws can therefore lead to some of the largest prizes ever seen on EuroMillions, with the jackpot cap set at €190 million.
When a Superdraw jackpot was not won in June 2013, the top prize rolled over five times to reach €187 million and was then shared between a ticket holder from Ireland and one from Belgium.
While the EuroMillions Superdraw is rapidly approaching, there are still plenty of opportunities to snap up prizes before 15th September.
