Date Announced For Next EuroMillions Superdraw

Last Updated: Tuesday 6th May 2025, 15:56 pm

Another EuroMillions Superdraw has been confirmed for early summer, providing the opportunity to land a jackpot of €130 million.

When is the Superdraw?

The Superdraw - or Megadraw - will take place on Friday 6th June. If the jackpot happens to be higher already at the time of the draw, it will effectively be postponed and it will instead go ahead a bit later in the year.

If the jackpot is lower, money will be taken from the Reserve Fund to top it up to €130 million. Even if there is a winner in the preceding draw, the amount for the Superdraw is guaranteed.

The Superdraw jackpot can roll over if nobody wins, right up to a maximum of €250 million. That is exactly what happened in the most recent draw in March - it carried on climbing until a player from Austria won at the game’s cap to set a new record.

Big Winners in Ireland

Ireland has not had a jackpot winner since February 2022, so players all over the country will be waiting for the luck to turn and for someone from the Emerald Isle to land a multimillion-euro sum.

The biggest win in Ireland’s history came back in 2019, when a family syndicate from The Naul in Co Dublin pocketed €175 million. It was a moment that sparked excitement across the nation and a frenzy of media interest before the winners came forward to claim the money anonymously.

Despite the lack of top prizes in recent years, the game has still continued to create tens of thousands of Irish winners in every draw.

Ten ticket holders are also guaranteed to win €5,000 in every draw thanks to the Ireland Only Raffle, and in May there is a special promotion running which awards one of those 10 players an extra €250,000. The first winner, on Friday 2nd May, bought their entry at Supervalu Killester, Howth Road, Dublin 3, Co Dublin.

You can also add EuroMillions Plus to your ticket for an additional €1, giving you another chance to win prizes up to €500,000. Someone from Mace in Wilkinstown, Co Meath, banked the EuroMillions Plus jackpot in Friday’s draw to instantly become half a million euros richer.

Use the EuroMillions Checker after every draw to discover whether you have won a prize. The checker includes the main draw, Ireland Only Raffle and EuroMillions Plus.
