€250,000 Must Be Won in Every EuroMillions Draw in May

It is set to be a bumper month for EuroMillions players in Ireland, with one ticket holder set to win €250,000 in every draw in May.
Starting from Friday 2nd May and continuing until Friday 30th May, an additional €2.25 million will be paid out in total over the course of the nine draws.

The best part is that you don’t have to do anything different from normal to be in with a chance of winning - just make sure to pick up a ticket! You’ll still be given an Ireland Only Raffle code for each line of numbers you play, and this is your key to potentially unlocking €250,000.
The Ireland Only Raffle draws in May will work - initially at least - in the same way as usual. Ten winning codes will be selected at random, and if you’ve got a matching ticket you will be due a prize of €5,000. You just need all nine characters - four digits and five letters - to match the winning characters in exact order.
After the winning raffle codes have been confirmed, all 10 will be entered into a separate draw. This involves an electronic random number generator picking one as the winner of the €250,000 prize.
It is not the first time the Irish Lottery has held special Ireland Only Raffle draws, but typically they are one-off events. On Valentine's Day, for example, a ticket holder from Co Carlow landed €1 million on top of their standard prize.
This promotion runs consecutively for nine draws, making it the perfect time to take part in EuroMillions. The jackpot also stands at €100 million and could remain high for the entire month, or perhaps it could be the time when someone from Ireland wins the top prize.
