Search Still On For €6.4 Million Lotto Winner From Cavan

As Irish Lotto players look forward to trying to win the next jackpot, the wait is still ongoing for the last big winner to come forward. A gigantic prize of €6.4 million was up for grabs on Wednesday 5th July and one lucky ticket matched all six main numbers drawn, but Irish Lottery officials have yet to pay out.
The winning numbers on Wednesday 5th July were 7, 16, 18, 20, 24 and 37, with Bonus Ball 13. The all-important ticket was bought in Co. Cavan, at Argue’s Londis Service Station, Cootehill, just outside Drumaveil.
Store owner Jim Argue expressed his excitement straight after the draw and speculated on whether the winner might be a local resident or someone passing through, but he is still none the wiser as the clock ticks down to the deadline for the jackpot to be claimed.
All Irish Lotto prizes must be claimed within 90 days of the draw taking place so there is still plenty of time until the ticket’s validity expires on 3rd October, but players who purchased their entries in Co. Cavan should check to see if they might be sitting on a fortune.
A large number of big prizes go unclaimed every year, and this money is then returned to the Irish Lottery so it can be used to promote its games. The operator’s main goal is to support good causes across Ireland, and more than €4.9 billion has so far been raised in the 30-year history of the Irish Lottery.
As the wait goes on for the Irish Lotto winner to come forward, there will be another chance to win great prizes in Wednesday’s draw, with a €6.5 million jackpot on offer. You can bet online or visit any authorised retailer in Ireland. Good luck!
