Irish Players Win Big On EuroMillions
Last Updated: Monday 6th February 2017, 10:05 am
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over on Friday night as nobody picked up the €17 million top prize, but there were still some great success stories for Irish players. One ticket holder snapped up €369,791, while another player won €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
The numbers drawn in the main EuroMillions game were 3, 4, 15, 46 and 50 with Lucky Stars 5 and 9. Three participants from across the continent - two from the UK and one from Ireland - matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star. The Irish ticket was sold at Glynn’s Centra in Carnmore, Galway, and manager of the store Liam Glynn has said he is looking forward to finding out more about the lucky player.
There were over 46,000 winning Irish players on EuroMillions, while lots of ticket holders also opted in to EuroMillions Plus for an extra chance to win great prizes. A Dublin punter matched the numbers 2, 21, 23, 29 and 49 to land half a million euros, while 45 participants matched four of the numbers to win €2,000 each and 2,206 ticket holders matched three numbers to scoop €20.
You can find out more information about all of the most recent draws in the EuroMillions Results section, and look forward to more excitement tomorrow evening. The EuroMillions jackpot is €25 million, and it could well be that Ireland’s great run on the game continues following the €88.5 million jackpot win last month. Tickets can be bought online or from authorised retailers. Good luck!
