One EuroMillions player is guaranteed to become a millionaire as part of the next draw on Friday 3rd April, thanks to a special edition of the Ireland Only Raffle.
The Ireland Only Raffle is a supplementary game that takes place alongside every EuroMillions draw. You are automatically entered when you buy a ticket, and receive a raffle code for every line of numbers you play in the main draw.
Raffle codes consist of nine characters - the letter ‘I’, followed by three more letters and five numbers. In regular draws, 10 winning codes are selected at random. If you match any of the codes exactly, with all nine characters in the correct positions, you win €5,000. The Irish Lottery also schedules special draws from time to time.

The upcoming draw on 3rd April has been organised to mark Good Friday, and will see an extra €1 million put in the Ireland Only Raffle pot. The 10 winning codes will be placed in a separate draw, and one will be randomly selected to receive the additional seven-figure prize. This will take the total payout for the lucky ticket holder to €1,005,000.
The odds of winning an Ireland Only Raffle prize depend on how many tickets are sold. More entries are usually submitted on Fridays than Tuesdays, or when the jackpot gets big.
The raffle always gives 10 chances to win at least €5,000, and it’s possible to land a prize in the main draw on the same night. The jackpot for Friday night is an estimated €83 million, following a run of six rollovers in a row.
Ireland has yet to produce a jackpot winner in 2026, after having two last year. A family syndicate from Cork landed a record €250 million in June, before someone from Co Cavan won €17 million in December.
