EuroMillions Jackpot to Rise to €130 Million for March Megadraw

The next big EuroMillions jackpot event has been lined up for Friday 7th March, when a Superdraw will put up a top prize worth €130 million.
Superdraws, also known as Megadraws, only happen a few times a year. They offer some of the largest jackpots you’ll find on the lottery, giving you the chance to dream of becoming wealthier than most of your favourite celebrities.
In a Superdraw, you still have to pick five numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Stars from 1 to 12. The only difference is the enhanced jackpot, which is guaranteed even if it is much lower in the draw on Tuesday 4th March.
If nobody wins on the night, the top prize will go onwards and upwards. It goes quickly, too, when it is above €100 million, so it might not be too much longer before a record jackpot is available.
Ireland’s Biggest Wins
An Irish win in the Superdraw, or a subsequent rollover draw, would make it one of the country’s biggest-ever payouts. There has only ever been one jackpot larger than €130 million to have been won on the Emerald Isle, and that followed on directly from a Superdraw in February 2019 when a family syndicate from Co Dublin scooped €175 million.
Previously, the record jackpot for an Irish player was the €115 million win by Dolores McNamara, a part-time cleaner from Limerick, in July 2005.
There has not been an Irish jackpot winner since February 2022, so there could not be a better time for the three-year wait to come to an end. Thousands of players still pick up prizes in every draw, though, as there are 12 other ways to win even if you don’t match all the numbers.
You also have the Ireland Only Raffle, and the option to add EuroMillions Plus, so it could turn out to be a very memorable night. Consider how you want to pick your numbers, then follow the results of the draw to discover how lucky you have been.
