EuroMillions December Superdraw Not Won - Jackpot Builds!
Last Updated: Monday 8th December 2025, 13:05 pm
Last week saw a big jump in the EuroMillions jackpot, all the way from the €17,000,000 starting jackpot to €130,000,000 thanks to the December Superdraw. However, no players managed to win the massive jackpot on the draw of the 5th, so what happens next?
What is a Superdraw?
If you're not familiar already, Superdraws are a special EuroMillions event where a few times per year, the jackpot is boosted to €130 million, irrespective of the previous jackpot. The EuroMillions Superdraw is a promotion played across all participating states.
Superdraws are scheduled well in advance so you can often check when the next one will be. If, on the day, the jackpot is already above €130 million, the Superdraw is cancelled and, usually, rescheduled.
How many Superdraws have there been this year?
This latest Superdraw is the third of 2025. The March Superdraw broke records when the jackpot rolled all the way from €130 million to the €250 million jackpot cap before being won by a lone ticket in Austria. In contrast, the September Superdraw was snatched up immediately by a Belgian ticket holder. Only time will tell what fortune has in store for this December's Superdraw!
What next for the EuroMillions jackpot?
Since the Superdraw jackpot hasn't been won, the EuroMillions jackpot will continue to roll upwards from €130 million, with draws taking place as usual. The odds of winning the jackpot also remain the same, no matter how large it is or how many players there are: 1 in 139,838,160.
