Could Megadraw Rollover Set Up Biggest Irish EuroMillions Win?

Last Updated: Monday 10th March 2025, 14:37 pm

Friday’s EuroMillions Megadraw ended up rolling over, although there were more than 61,000 prizes paid out in Ireland. Could it set up a new jackpot record?

Winning Superdraw Numbers

The winning numbers for the Megadraw, also known as a Superdraw, were 6, 10, 27, 32 and 48, with Lucky Stars 3 and 8. If anyone had matched all the numbers they would have won or shared €130 million, but none of the 44.9 million entries sold across Europe proved to be a perfect line.

See the EuroMillions Results page for a full breakdown of all the prizes won, along with the winning codes drawn in the Ireland Only Raffle.

Use the EuroMillions Checker to find out if you have won a prize in either the main draw or the raffle. If your code matches one of the winning codes, exactly, you can look forward to claiming €5,000.

The jackpot will now rise to €143 million for the next draw, setting up the possibility that someone from Ireland could soon become one of the country’s biggest-ever winners.

Ireland’s Biggest Wins

The largest win in Irish EuroMillions history is now more than six years old, dating back to the draw on 19th February 2019 when a family syndicate from The Naul in Co Dublin landed €175 million. Their success came after a Superdraw a few weeks earlier, and they kept the winning ticket safe in an Argos catalogue under a mattress before coming forward.

It would take at least a couple more rollovers for the current jackpot to go past €175 million, but it is already larger than the €115 million which ranks as Ireland’s second-biggest win. This prize went to Dolores McNamara from Limerick all the way back in July 2005. She bought houses for all six of her children and jetted off on a series of holidays after banking the nine-figure jackpot.

Go to the Biggest Winners page to find out about the rest of the top ten, and see a list of all the previous jackpots won in Ireland.

It remains to be seen whether this jackpot goes to Ireland or one of the other participating countries, but each draw is sure to be eagerly awaited until someone wins. The numbers are drawn in Paris every Tuesday and Friday night, so make sure to check the results as soon as they are available.
