An Irish Lotto player, who bought their ticket in the Midlands, is now €2.9 million richer after matching all six main numbers in the draw on Wednesday 30th September. The last draw of the month was also hugely profitable for another ticket holder who scooped €287,135 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
The numbers drawn were 4, 9, 27, 31, 38 and 39 with Bonus Ball 10 and other prizes won on the night ranged from a €3 scratchcard for the 13,356 players who matched two main numbers and the Bonus Ball up to €2,163 for the 13 ticket holders who matched five main numbers. There were 72 winners of €300 in the Lotto Plus Raffle as well, and you can find the full details of last night’s Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws at the Lottery Results page.
Wednesday’s winner is the second player to bank the jackpot since two more balls, which have yet to make an appearance in the winning line, were added to the game in time for the draw on Saturday 5th September. In addition, last night’s Match 5+1 prize was by far the largest amount won in that category under the new rules, more than ten times bigger than the previously fixed reward of €25,000.
Saturday’s jackpot will now be worth €2 million and you can stake your claim for a shot at the millionaire lifestyle by betting online or playing from authorised lottery retailers across the Republic.
