Irish Lotto Results for Wednesday 9th March 2016
Last Updated: Thursday 29th July 2021, 15:19 pm
The Irish Lotto draw on Wednesday 9th March ended without a jackpot winner, although 36,000 ticket holders received a prize in the main game alone. The top prize had reverted to its base amount of €2 million for last night’s draw after a single player, who bought their ticket at an XL Shop and Stop in Sligo, scooped €8.2 million in the draw on Saturday night.
The Irish Lotto results for Wednesday were 4, 6, 12, 13, 15 and 31 with Bonus Ball 14 and prizes won on the night ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €1,242 for matching five main numbers. There were thousands of other winners in the Lotto Plus 1, Lotto Plus 2 and Lotto Plus Raffle draws, and you can find all the information on those games, plus the full Irish Lotto prize breakdown, at the Lottery Results page.
You could become the third Irish Lotto jackpot winner of 2016 on Saturday if you match all six main numbers, following in the footsteps of last weekend’s winner and the Co Mayo family who bagged €13.7 million on Saturday 23rd January. With €2.5 million on offer this weekend, you could head to France this summer to watch the Irish team play in Euro 2016, just like the husband of that group pledged to do. If you would prefer somewhere a little more tropical, you could also make sure you booked some five-star luxury on a Caribbean beach afterwards to help you relax after the excitement of the football action.
You can choose your numbers online and from authorised retailers across the country, and don’t forget to check Irish.National-Lottery.com soon after the draw takes place to find out if you are a newly-minted millionaire.
