Irish Lotto Results for Wednesday 9th December 2015
Last Updated: Tuesday 27th September 2022, 15:21 pm
The Irish Lotto jackpot will climb to €5.5 million for Saturday after no ticket holders were able to match all six main numbers on Wednesday 9th December. There have now been seven successive rollovers since the top prize was last won, but there have still been significant amounts of cash given away and last night over 29,000 players picked up rewards.
The numbers drawn were 1, 4, 12, 31, 37 and 39 with Bonus Ball 18. Prizes ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers plus the Bonus Ball right up to €1,868, which 15 participants earned after matching five main numbers. Lotto Plus 2 produced the biggest winner of the evening, as a single ticket holder matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to scoop €2,500.
The supplementary games provide additional ways for players to pocket prizes and there were over 20,000 winners across Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 last night, while 76 participants also matched the winning Lotto Plus Raffle code of 4916 to land €300 each. Visit the Irish Lotto Results section for full details, including a breakdown of prizes from the main Irish Lotto game.
The last time the jackpot was won was Saturday 14th November, when a syndicate of ten work colleagues from Co Cork struck lucky to earn €3.8 million. Another syndicate from Meath came forward earlier this week to collect €500,000 after winning the Lotto Plus 1 top prize on Saturday 5th December, having purchased their tickets online.
Whether you reckon playing in a group might be the best way forward or choose to go it alone, tickets can be bought now for Saturday’s exciting Irish Lotto draw.
