Last Updated: Thursday 7th April 2016, 09:39 am

The Irish Lotto jackpot rolled over on Wednesday 6th April as nobody matched all six main numbers drawn, but over 28,000 ticket holders did pick up prizes and a couple of lucky players landed magnificent six-figure sums of money.

The numbers drawn were 9, 27, 30, 38, 40 and 46 with Bonus Ball 14. The two participants who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball scooped €120,409 each, while other prizes won spanned between a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers plus the Bonus Ball and €1,495 for matching five main numbers.

There was also one player in the Irish Lotto Plus 1 draw who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to pocket €5,000, as thousands more prizes were given away in the night’s supplementary games. There were 86 Lotto Plus Raffle ticket holders who matched the winning number of 6508 to bag €300 each. Visit the Irish Lotto Results section to find out more about all the games, including a full Irish lotto prize breakdown.

There has now been a run of seven Irish Lotto rollovers since a syndicate of work colleagues from Waterford City won €2.5 million in the draw on Saturday 12th March, and a jackpot of €5.5 million will now be up for grabs in the next game. If you want to play on Saturday for the chance to grab a fortune, you can either buy tickets online or by visiting an authorised retailer in Ireland. Best of luck!
