The Irish Lotto jackpot rolled over on Wednesday 18th November but there were four players who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to each win €10,923. A top prize worth €3.8 million had been scooped in the previous draw on Saturday 14th November and it has been confirmed that the lucky ticket belonged to a syndicate from Co Cork.
The numbers drawn on Wednesday night were 5, 7, 10, 16, 30 and 46 with Bonus Ball 32, and there were over 29,000 prize winners in total. As well as the four players in the Match 5 + Bonus tier, the other rewards given away went from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers plus the Bonus Ball up to €1,747 for matching five main numbers.
One participant also pocketed €2,500 on Irish Lotto Plus 2 after matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, while 66 ticket holders each earned €300 after matching the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number of 9764. Visit the Irish Lotto Results section for a full prize breakdown from the Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2.
The jackpot will now rise to €2.5 million for the next draw on Saturday, and players will have high hopes of emulating the success of the syndicate from Cork. The group is made up of ten employees from Charleville’s Kerry Group factory, who run a cheese strings production line, and they did not realise they had won until they all turned up for work on Monday and checked their ticket.
Each member of the syndicate will now receive €388,375, allowing them to plan for a lifetime of financial security. You could get your hands on a significant sum of money by winning the next Irish Lotto jackpot at the weekend or trying your luck on EuroMillions this Friday, when the top prize up for grabs will be an extraordinary €162 million.
