On the eve of St. Patrick’s Day, one lucky Irish Lotto ticket holder secured an amazing prize of €383,528 by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. There were over 31,000 other prize winners, all of whom clearly had the luck of the Irish on their side.
The winning numbers from Wednesday were 4, 14, 21, 28, 35 and 36, with 25 appearing as the Bonus Ball. In addition to the night’s biggest winner, there were a further 19,127 prize winners who each walked away with prizes worth between €9 for matching three main numbers and €559 by matching five main numbers. There will be another 12,454 players hoping for some additional luck as each successfully secured a €3 scratchcard by matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball.

Anticipation will no doubt be high following jackpot wins on each of the previous two Saturdays, an occurrence that has not been seen since August 2015. A winner of the top prize this Saturday will add an estimated €2.5 million to their bank account, a fine, if not slightly delayed, way to round off the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations - better late than never, though!
