Last Updated: Tuesday 27th September 2022, 09:27 am
The Irish Lotto jackpot rolled over on Wednesday 13th May, but there were over 22,000 prize winners and one ticket holder became €25,000 richer after matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. A top prize of €2 million had been available last night after one lucky participant scooped €5.9 million on Saturday, and it was a wonderful draw for many players despite the lack of a jackpot winner.
The winning numbers on the evening were 10,14, 29, 34, 39 and 42 with Bonus Ball 38. As well as the one player in the Match 5 + Bonus tier, another 30 ticket holders picked up €1,494 each after matching five main numbers. Other prizes won ranged from €5 for matching three main numbers to €201 for matching four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.
There were no winners of the top prizes in either the Lotto Plus 1 or Lotto Plus 2 games, but two players matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball in Lotto Plus 1 to earn €3,500 each. Between the two supplementary games, there were well over 30,000 winners of cash prizes. Check out the Results page for a full breakdown of the prizes from the Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2.
Fans had been hoping to emulate the winner of Saturday’s draw, who purchased their ticket at a supermarket in Mullingar, Co Westmeath. The store had previously sold a ticket worth €10 million in 2013 and also has another claim to fame, as it is the place where One Direction singer Niall Horan’s father works as a butcher.
Attention will now turn to the next draw this weekend, when a jackpot of £2.5 million will be on offer for anyone who can match the six main numbers drawn. A big win would enable you to go on regular holidays for the rest of your life or upgrade your home - imagine living in a world without limits!
