Saturday’s Irish Lotto draw offered a jackpot worth €2.9 million, and while more than 56,000 participants scooped great prizes, no one was able to snag the top prize, which has now been rolling over Wednesday 28th October.
Saturday’s winning line was 5, 8, 9, 10, 15 and 29 with Bonus Ball 17. There were 56 players who matched five main numbers to win €683 each, while another 128 participants matched four main numbers and the Bonus Ball to snap up €75 each. An additional 2,289 ticket holders won €27 each for matching four main numbers, while 2,595 players pocketed €16 each after they matched three main numbers and the Bonus Ball. Cash prizes in the main game were capped off by the 30,392 participants who each won €6 for matching three main numbers, while 20,649 ticket holders matched two main numbers and the Bonus Ball and received a €3 scratchcard.
Nearly 23,000 participants in the Lotto Plus game grabbed great prizes, with two players in Lotto Plus 1 and one ticket holder in Lotto Plus 2 grabbing €5,000 and €2,000 respectively for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball in both games. Another 104 players matched the winning Lotto Plus Raffle code of 6939 to win €300 each. For more details on Saturday’s game, visit the Irish Lotto Results page.
It’s shaping up to be a great week for Irish lottery fans. Tomorrow, EuroMillions will offer a rollover jackpot worth €111 million after the Superdraw last Friday failed to produce a top prize winner. On Wednesday, Irish Lotto will serve up its own rollover jackpot of €3.5 million for anyone who can match the six main numbers drawn.
Tickets for both games are available online or from authorised retailers throughout the Republic. Good luck and have fun!
