Last Updated: Thursday 29th July 2021, 14:33 pm
There were more than 45,000 prize winners in the Irish Lotto draw on Saturday 6th February, although no one could match all six main numbers to hit the €3.6 million jackpot. The two players who matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball will have been popping the champagne corks to celebrate the biggest win on the night, with each pocketing €97,174.
The Irish Lotto Results were 3, 4, 14, 25, 42 and 45 with Bonus Ball 17 and other prizes won in the draw ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €1,735 for matching five main numbers. If you want a shot at claiming Wednesday night’s €4 million Irish Lotto jackpot, you might want to consider moving home after a list of the luckiest lottery counties was released. As expected, Co Dublin comes out top of the tree with 565 top prize winners, followed by Co Cork on 172. However, it is not just the highly-populated areas that succeed most often in picking the six winning numbers. Co Louth makes an appearance in the top five, boasting 75 lucky players despite being the smallest county geographically. Louth outdoes Limerick (57), Kildare (69) and Tipperary (50), which are all home to significantly more inhabitants than the tiny border county. Leitrim sits at the bottom of the list with just seven jackpot winners in the history of the game.
