Irish Lotto Results for Saturday 2nd January 2016
Last Updated: Thursday 29th July 2021, 14:34 pm
There was no Irish Lotto winner in the draw on Saturday 2nd January, although more than 48,000 players won prizes. The biggest wins of the night came in the Lotto Plus 2 supplementary game, where two ticket holders each matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to bank €2,500. The largest amount snapped up in the main draw was €1,743, which was won by 24 players who matched five main balls.
The Irish Lotto results from the main game were 10, 19, 23, 28, 31 and 32 with Bonus Ball 6 and other prizes scooped in the draw ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €130 for matching four main numbers and the Bonus Ball. You can find results and prize breakdowns for Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, Lotto Plus 2 and the Lotto Plus Raffle at the Lottery Results section.
Wednesday’s Irish Lotto jackpot will now be worth €9 million, its highest amount since Saturday 4th April 2015, when a single ticket holder banked €10.6 million. Becoming the first jackpot winner of 2016 would allow you to banish the January blues, quit your job and spend your days trying out new exciting experiences. You could take helicopter flying lessons in Co Kildare for €399, enjoy a hot air balloon flight for two in Co Meath at €447 or even board a VIP whale and dolphin watching trip off the coast of Co Cork for €577. You would easily have the time and money to spare to spend on these adventures if you match those six main balls on Wednesday.
