Irish Lotto Results for Saturday 29th August 2015
Last Updated: Thursday 29th July 2021, 14:17 pm
There were two lucky Irish Lotto players who each snared €25,000 on Saturday 29th August after matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, but the jackpot rolled over once again. There were over 32,000 ticket holders who won cash on the night and the top prize will now increase to an estimated €5 million for the next draw on Wednesday 2nd September.
Saturday’s numbers were 10, 14, 22, 24, 26 and 44 with Bonus Ball 12. As well as the two participants in the Match 5 + Bonus tier, there were 24 players who matched five main numbers to earn €2,464 each. The other prizes picked up in the main game spanned from €5 for matching three main numbers to €150 for matching four main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
The two supplementary games produced thousands more winners, including one ticket holder in Lotto Plus 1 who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to pocket €3,500. There has now been a run of six rollovers since the Irish Lotto jackpot was last won by a duo on holiday in Rosslare, who picked up €2.5 million. Wednesday’s draw will offer a prize of double that amount for any player who manages to match all six main numbers. It will be the final draw before changes are made to the game, including an expansion of the ball pool from 45 to 47, so any big winners on Wednesday will take their place in Irish Lotto history.
