The Irish Lotto jackpot rolled over on Saturday 19th March as nobody matched all six main numbers, but there were some magnificent cash rewards given away and in total over 39,000 ticket holders picked up prizes.
The numbers drawn were 7, 13, 26, 36, 39 and 42 with Bonus Ball 18. The biggest winner of the night was the lucky player who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to scoop €64,140, while the other prizes spread from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €1,479 for matching five main numbers.
One Irish Lotto Plus 1 participant pocketed €5,000 after matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, while there were 104 players who matched the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number of 1471 to bag €300 each. It has been quite a week for Irish lottery players, after one ticket holder matched all five numbers in Friday evening’s EuroMillions Plus draw to land the top prize of €500,000. The Irish Lotto jackpot had previously been won on Saturday 12th March by a syndicate of work colleagues from Waterford. The group of 12 collected their cheque on Friday and announced that they would carry on playing despite their big win.
