Last Updated: Thursday 29th July 2021, 15:09 pm
The Irish Lotto jackpot rolled again on Saturday 17th October, but more than 50,000 participants managed to snap up a prize, including a mighty €222,172 won by the player who matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. Wednesday’s top prize will now be worth €4.5 million, following five rollovers since a couple from Co. Longford picked up €2.9 million on Wednesday 30th September.
Saturday’s winning line was 4, 7, 19, 22, 25 and 41 with Bonus Ball 8 and other prizes awarded in the draw ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball up to €1,112 for matching five main balls. Take a look at the Lottery Results section to see the full prize breakdown from Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, Lotto Plus 2 and the Lotto Plus Raffle.
Winning Wednesday’s €4.5 million bounty would certainly make up for any Irish Rugby Union fan’s disappointment at the national team’s exit from the Rugby World Cup on Sunday. In addition, you would be able to afford to shell out for Premier hospitality at the final at Twickenham, with drinks, food and pre and post-match entertainment included. The package will cost you £1,795 (€2,443) per person for the best seats in the house, which would be pocket change for you after your big win and, whilst Ireland might not have made it through, you are guaranteed to see some top-class rugby being played.
Entries are on sale now for Wednesday’s draw and you can get hold of them from authorised retailers in Ireland, or online.
