Last Updated: Tuesday 27th September 2022, 15:43 pm
The Irish Lotto jackpot will stand at €3 million on Wednesday after nobody managed to scoop the top prize in Saturday’s draw, but it was still a wonderful weekend for many players. Over 29,000 ticket holders earned money on the Irish Lotto, and the supplementary games produced even more winners.
The winning numbers on Saturday were 18, 19, 28, 32, 35 and 44 with Bonus Ball 29. A jackpot of €2.5 million had been on offer for any player able to match all six main numbers drawn, but it proved to be just out of reach as there was a second straight rollover. The biggest winners on the night were the 36 participants who matched five main numbers to pick up €1,682 each.
Other prizes won ranged from €5 for matching three main numbers to €183 for matching four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. There were over 30,000 winners on both the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 games, and a full breakdown of prizes from all three draws can be found on the Results page.
The jackpot was last claimed on Saturday 9th May by one lucky player who pocketed €5.9 million. The ticket was purchased at a Tesco in Mullingar, Co Westmeath, hours before the draw took place, giving the supermarket a second jackpot winner. A couple had previously bought a €4 Quick Pick Lotto ticket there in 2013 and scooped €10 million.
Irish Lotto fans can now look forward to another chance to become a millionaire in midweek. If you fancy getting your hands on a seven-figure windfall and splashing out on many of the luxuries you’ve always dreamt of, then make sure to buy a ticket for Wednesday’s draw. You can enter online or by taking a trip to any authorised retailer in Ireland, and then look at irish.national-lottery.com after the draw to check the winning numbers. Good luck.
