Last Updated: Thursday 29th July 2021, 14:16 pm
The Irish Lotto jackpot will climb to an estimated €7 million after a rollover on Saturday 12th September, but there were a number of big winners on the night as players benefited from the bigger prizes on offer since several changes were made to the game earlier this month.
The numbers drawn were 6, 12, 15, 17, 32 and 40 with Bonus Ball 21. Two lucky ticket holders each pocketed €96,283 after matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, a significant increase on the previous fixed prize of €25,000 for winning players in the same tier. Over 46,000 other participants landed Irish Lotto prizes, ranging from the 19,593 players who each won a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to the 20 entrants who won €2,129 for matching five main numbers.
The biggest winners on the night came in Lotto Plus 1, as two players from the south of the country each snagged the new top prize of €500,000. There was another participant who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to earn €5,000, while there were 115 winners in the Lotto Plus Raffle who matched the winning code of 6039 to grab €300. You can find a full prize breakdown from the Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 in the Results section.
There have now been ten rollovers since the Irish Lotto jackpot was last won by a duo on holiday in Rosslare, who scooped €2.5 million in the draw on Saturday 8th August. The latest results show that it is still possible to grab a fortune without winning the jackpot, and there will be another chance to get rich thanks to Irish Lotto on Wednesday night.
