A single ticket holder has pocketed a fantastic €5.3 million Irish Lotto jackpot by matching all six main numbers in the draw on Wednesday 28th October. The player bought their ticket in the Mid-West of Ireland and became the game’s first jackpot winner since a player banked €2.9 million in the draw on Wednesday 30th September.
The winning Irish Lotto numbers were 5, 7, 10, 18, 41 and 47 with Bonus Ball 44, and 25 ticket holders matched five main numbers to win €1,186 each. Other prizes awarded on the night ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €219 for matching four main numbers and the Bonus Ball. The full Irish Lotto prize breakdown, along with results and prize information from Lotto Plus 1, Lotto Plus 2 and the Lotto Plus Raffle, can be found at the Lottery Results page.
Your next chance to become an Irish Lotto millionaire is on Saturday night, when skeletons, witches and werewolves in Dublin, Cork and Limerick will be breaking off from Halloween festivities to check their tickets and see if they have scooped the guaranteed €2 million top prize. There’s also an opportunity to win big on Friday night, when EuroMillions will offer a quadruple rollover jackpot of €47 million.
Irish Lotto and EuroMillions tickets are available to buy now from official lottery retailers across the country. Good luck and don’t worry if you see a family of zombies popping open bottles of champagne in the street this weekend - it’s probably just partygoers celebrating a hefty lottery win!
