Saturday’s Irish Lotto jackpot is heading towards €7.5 million after no one matched all six main numbers in the draw on Wednesday 16th September. However, more than 42,000 players did manage to grab a prize in the main game, with 37 ticket holders boosting their bank accounts by €882 after matching five main numbers. The biggest win of the night came in the Lotto Plus 1 supplementary draw, where a single ticket scooped €5,000 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
The winning Irish Lotto numbers for the main game were 3, 9, 22, 25, 27 and 31 with Bonus Ball 23, and other prizes won on the night ranged from a €3 scratchcard for the 16,081 players who matched two main numbers and the Bonus Ball up to €114 for the 72 participants who matched four main numbers and the Bonus Ball. Saturday’s Irish Lotto jackpot will be the largest since Saturday 4th April, when two families from Co Meath, who had joined together to form a syndicate, shared a mighty €10.6 million. The families will now live mortgage-free and have vowed to enjoy their winnings.
