Daily Million Winner ‘Not Surprised’ by Big Scoop

Last Updated: Wednesday 17th February 2016, 09:11 am

The lucky lady who scooped the top prize in Monday’s Daily Million draw has revealed that she had a feeling a big lottery win was coming her way. The woman, who bought her €1.50 Quick Pick ticket from a Spar in Castlekeep, Balrothery, Co Dublin, is now looking forward to enjoying her money in a variety of ways, perhaps even splashing out on some cosmetic surgery.

There are seven prize tiers on Daily Million and a guaranteed jackpot of £1 million if anyone can match all six main numbers between 1 and 39. The lady who struck lucky on Monday has decided to remain anonymous, but as she came forward to National Lottery headquarters the next day she insisted that the win had not been a major surprise. She explained: “There was something telling me I was going to win a big lottery prize in the last few months.”

As she prepares to turn 50 later this year, the winner is also excited about being able to buy property and a new car, as well as travelling more regularly. She has also been congratulated by Gerry Andrews, the owner of the Spar shop, who told the Irish Independent: “Both the management and the staff are just delighted with the win and we wish the lucky customer all the best.”

You can find out the latest winning Daily Million numbers in the Irish Lottery Results section, and play the game every day if you wish to try and emulate the success of the lucky winner from Co Dublin. There is also an Irish Lotto draw to enter tonight, with a jackpot of €5 million following a run of seven rollovers.

Whether you want to play Irish Lotto, Daily Million or both games, you will have to buy tickets by either entering online or popping down to an authorised retailer in Ireland. A seven-figure sum could just be heading your way, allowing you to enjoy your ideal holiday, drive the car of your dreams or even pay for the odd nip and tuck. Good luck!
