Special Lotto Plus Draw To Share Out €1 Million

Last Updated: Wednesday 2nd April 2025, 15:52 pm
Anyone who wins a Lotto Plus Raffle prize on Saturday will receive a far bigger prize than normal, with €1 million set to be shared out between lucky ticket holders.
How the Raffle Works
The Lotto Plus Raffle takes place alongside every Irish Lotto draw. If you add the ‘Plus’ option to your Lotto ticket, you will receive a four-digit combination between 0000 and 9999 for every line of numbers played. As there are only 10,000 possible combinations, many players will have the same set of digits.
A winning code is selected at random every Wednesday and Saturday night. Match all four digits in exact order and - in most draws - the prize is €500.
However, Saturday’s draw will see an extra €1 million added to the pot. There is no way of knowing how many players will split the prize, but it does promise to boost the payout into the thousands.
The last time a similar promotion took place, on 11th November 2023, there were 87 Lotto Plus Raffle winners. Each player got an additional €11,495.
The odds of winning a raffle prize are actually 1 in 5,000, because the minimum play is two lines. You also have a chance to win in the main draw, Plus 1 or Plus 2. Go to the Lotto Plus page for more information.
Big Win in Europe
The special Lotto draw comes just over a week after a record-breaking EuroMillions on Friday 28th March. Unfortunately, the record did not go to Ireland - instead it was an Austrian player who pocketed €250 million.
The jackpot had climbed to unprecedented levels following a three-week surge since the last Superdraw on 7th March. More than 99,000 Irish winners picked up prizes in Friday’s draw, with many more enjoying success over the past month.
Whether you’re a fan of Lotto, EuroMillions or another game, you can keep up to date with the latest results after every draw.
