EuroDreams Prize Boost Creates Biggest-Ever Jackpot

Last Updated: Monday 12th October 2026, 15:30 pm

A special EuroDreams draw will take place on Thursday night, with the jackpot raised to €50,000 a month for 30 years - that’s more than double the regular amount. What’s more, the top prize will stay at this enhanced level until there is a winner!

€2.4 Million

These EuroDreams events are known in Ireland as Boosted Annuity Prize Draws, and Superdraws in other participating countries. They provide an opportunity to play for a far larger jackpot than usual.

    How Will the Draw Work?

Thursday’s big draw will work in the same way as a standard draw, apart from the boosted top prize. You will still be required to pick six main numbers from 1 to 40, plus one Dream Number between 1 and 5, so the odds of winning do not change.

If nobody matches all the numbers, across all eight nations that take part in the game, the jackpot will simply remain at €50,000 a month for 30 years in the subsequent draw on Monday, 19th October. It will stay at that value until someone wins - there is no limit like there is with EuroMillions Megadraws.

The last time that a EuroDreams Superdraw took place, the jackpot was lifted to €30,000 a month for 30 years. This was first offered on 2nd October, 2025, and there was not a winner until a Portuguese ticket holder pocketed the top prize on 9th April. That’s more than six months later!

The upcoming jackpot is the largest prize to have ever been seen in EuroDreams history. Over the course of 30 years, the winner can look forward to receiving a total of €18 million. Remember, the regular prize is €20,000 a month for 30 years (€7.2 million by the time all the payments have been made).

While the last Boosted Annuity Prize Draw took half a year to produce a winner, recent history suggests the wait won’t be as long this time. There were two winners of the top prize on Thursday 8th October - one from France and one from Switzerland. A Portuguese player also won in the previous draw on Monday 5th October.

There has only ever been one Irish jackpot winner since EuroDreams started in November 2023. A woman from Wicklow landed the top prize in August 2025 with a ticket she bought online, having been out walking in the rain and thinking about how a big win would brighten up her day. Now, she gets an annuity payment of €20,000 every month.

Irish players have celebrated more than 7 million other prize wins, including a number in Tier 2 (worth €2,000 a month for five years). It would be a great time for someone else from the Emerald Isle to scoop the jackpot, so make sure to have a go. You can purchase tickets from authorised retailers or choose numbers online.
