Cavan Player Wins Christmas Millionaire Raffle

Last Updated: Friday 2nd January 2026, 09:35 am

Lottery players across Ireland have been urged to check their tickets after the Christmas Millionaire Raffle created thousands of winners. The top prize went to someone from County Cavan.

The Millionaire Raffle is held annually on New Year’s Eve, with prizes ranging from €500 to €1 million. It takes place in two stages, with all the winning tickets selected first before the prizes are allocated at random to the winning tickets.

The winning raffle number for 2025, worth €1 million, was revealed to be 322259. Go to the Millionaire Raffle Results page to see the full list of winning numbers. Use the Checker to find out if your number was drawn.

Sarah Orr, spokesperson for the Irish Lottery, said: “What a way to ring in the New Year for a Millionaire Raffle player in Cavan who kicked 2026 off as an overnight millionaire. With 8,500 prizes on offer, we are urging all of our players who had tickets for the New Year's Eve draw to carefully check their Raffle numbers today.”

Orr added: "The biggest winners of the night, including the €1 million top prize winner and the six winners of €100,000, are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe. They should contact our Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lottery Headquarters to collect their prizes.”

See the main Millionaire Raffle page to learn more about how the game works and all the prizes that were on offer.

A Momentous Year

The raffle brought a momentous year for Irish Lottery players to a close. The highlight was a record €250 million EuroMillions win for a family syndicate from Co Cork in June. Another EuroMillions player from County Cavan landed €17 million in December.

There were other big wins across Ireland’s other lottery draws, including a €17 million Lotto win, while changes to EuroDreams made the multi-national annuity game even more exciting.
