Time is Almost Up for Missing €250,000 Irish Lotto Winner

An Irish Lottery player who hit the jackpot in August has yet to claim their prize — and they’re fast running out of time to do so.
The missing winner purchased their €10 Quick Pick ticket from the High Street branch of Hannon’s Daybreak in Dunmore, Co. Galway on Saturday 6th August, matching all six numbers in the Wednesday, August 10 Lotto Plus 2 draw to scoop a cash prize of €250,000 — the maximum that can be won in the supplementary game.
Despite their initial stroke of exceedingly good luck, the ticket-holder never came forward to collect their prize. Now, with Irish Lottery players bound by a strict 90-day prize-claiming period, the ticket-holder has just 24 hours left to make themselves known.
With the clock counting down, The National Lottery has called for players to check their old tickets and ensure that they are not unknowingly about to let a small fortune slip through their fingers. The winning numbers in the draw were 1, 9, 10, 15, 23 and 30 with Bonus Ball 2 and you can see the full prize breakdown at the Lottery Results page.
If you or someone you know happens to be the lucky ticket holder, be sure to get in touch with the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444 before the end of Tuesday 8th November, when the ticket expires. If, sadly, you’re certain that you’re not the missing winner, you may be interested to know that this Wednesday’s Irish Lotto jackpot currently stands at an estimated €7 million following last Saturday’s rollover.
