The Irish Lotto draw for Wednesday 20th May ended in a rollover, though more than 21,000 participants managed to match some of the numbers drawn and walk away with some nice sums of cash in their pockets. No one has scooped the top prize since Saturday 9th May, when a ticket holder in Mullingar, Co Westmeath grabbed €5.9 million. After last night’s results, the Irish Lotto jackpot has increased to €3.5 million for next Saturday.
Last night’s winning Irish Lotto numbers were 12, 15, 16, 31, 38 and 40 with Bonus Ball 27. No winners could be found in the first two prize tiers, but 27 participants matched five main numbers to snap up €1,650 each. All other cash amounts handed out on the night were worth between €5 for matching three main numbers and €193 for matching four main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
Players also did well in the supplementary Irish Lotto games. In Lotto Plus 2, a ticket holder from the Midlands matched all six main numbers to pick up a cool €250,000, while more than 27,000 other players in the game picked up other fixed cash prizes.
