Irish Lotto Results for Saturday 21st March 2015
Last Updated: Thursday 29th July 2021, 15:04 pm
The Irish Lotto jackpot remained elusive once again as no player could match all six main numbers to drawn to net themselves a €8.1 million windfall. There have now been 13 rollovers since the game was last won, and as the top prize continues to increase in value, players will be hoping to stop the runaway rollover train and grab a solid payday that would make their usual wages pale in comparison. The top prize for Wednesday will be worth €8.5 million.
Saturday’s winning line was 6, 17, 20, 24, 28 and 38 with Bonus Ball 11. The largest prize awarded in the main game went to 36 players who matched five main numbers to snap up €1,996 each. The remaining 40,655 prizes awarded on the night were worth between €5 for matching three main numbers and €109 for matching four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.

The bumper rollover jackpot comes at a crossroads for Ireland’s flagship game, as there has been some speculation that Dermot Griffin, head of the National Lottery, is open to the possibility that the matrix for the game may expanded and that the pricing for tickets may change. Changing the pool of numbers could lead to increased sales and bigger jackpots - a major plus for any Irish Lotto fan.
Of course, €8.5 million is nothing to sneeze at - winning that amount on Wednesday would be more than enough to quit your 9-5 in favour of doing something you really loved. You could volunteer for your favourite charity, train as a pilot, study for a degree or just travel the world for a year or two. Any goal you’ve ever had would suddenly be within your reach.
