Ireland's First EuroDreams Jackpot Winner Can Kick Back For Next 30 Years
Last Updated: Tuesday 9th September 2025, 11:51 am
A player has won the EuroDreams jackpot in Ireland for the first time since the game launched in 2023. The lucky winner will be able to cash in to receive a tax-free annuity of €20,000 per month for the next 30 years - that's €7.2 million in total!
The Night of The Draw
The winning numbers for the Monday night draw were 1-2-3-11-20-31 and 5 for the Dream Number. The numbers were matched exactly by one ticket in Ireland, and another in France.
Another player in Ireland also managed to match all six main numbers without the Dream Number, winning them the second-place prize of €2,000 per month for five years, equivalent to €120,000 in full. Another good night for Irish lottery players!
What Happens Next
The next step for these two winners is to claim their prize! Irish Lottery winners must cash in their tickets within 90 days of the draw they won, or else the prize will expire. This would obviously be devastating, so the Irish Lottery tends to announce details such as the city, and even the store where the ticket was purchased as part of a campaign to reach out to the unknown winner and jog their memory.
Although another player in France also landed the EuroDreams jackpot, the two winners are entitled to the top prize in full, rather than having to share. This is because the jackpot is an annuity rather than the traditional 'big pot of money'.
About EuroDreams
EuroDreams was launched in 2023, and is also played in Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland, so it's a big international lottery! Tickets are €2.50 each, and there are no added bells & whistles like raffle codes or optional add-ons.
EuroDreams is Ireland's only "annuity" lottery, which means the top prize is a regular payment over the course of multiple years, rather than a one-time payment. You may have heard of the UK's Set For Life lottery, or the USA's Cash4Life game - these are both annuity lotteries too.
While Ireland has scooped second-place prizes in EuroDreams before (including on the very first draw!) this is the first time the top prize has been won.

Ireland has been having a good deal of lottery luck lately, with the third-biggest Lotto jackpot won recently, and a €250,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot won in Cork just a month prior. Head to the Bet Online page to find out more and potentially get involved.
