Ireland Only Raffle To Create EuroMillions Millionaire On Friday

A lucky EuroMillions player will become a millionaire on Friday 16th March as part of the Ireland Only Raffle, with a special draw taking place ahead of St Patrick’s Day. Find out how to play and how it all works:
What is the Ireland Only Raffle
The Ireland Only Raffle is a game which offers 10 prizes of €5,000 in regular draws. Players win if the nine-digit code on their ticket matches one of the codes drawn on the night.
How do you play?
You just need to buy a EuroMillions ticket and you will be automatically entered into the Ireland Only Raffle. One code will be randomly generated for each line that you play.
What’s different about Friday’s game?
On Friday 16th March, the game will be played as normal and ten players will be awarded €5,000. One of those ten winners will then be selected at random to receive an extra €1 million, taking the total value of their prize up to €1,005,000.
Is this the first Ireland Only Raffle draw to offer €1 million?
No. There have been a number of other special Ireland Only Raffle draws over the past couple of years. Most recently, a player who bought their ticket from SuperValu on Tramore Road in Waterford became a millionaire on 24th November in a draw held to mark Black Friday.
How big will the jackpot be?
The jackpot is also shaping up to be a huge one for St Patrick’s weekend, following a run of rollovers since it was last won on Friday 23rd February. It is currently up to €60 million ahead of Tuesday’s draw.
