EuroMillions Jackpot Jumps To €150 Million

EuroMillions Jackpot Jumps To €150 Million

Last Updated: Tuesday 27th September 2022, 09:35 am

The EuroMillions jackpot will be worth an astonishing €150 million on Friday night following the latest rollover on Tuesday, giving you the chance to win one of the game’s biggest winners and become richer than celebrities such as Liam Neeson, Conor McGregor and Niall Horan.

EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 25th September

The numbers drawn on Tuesday were 6, 15, 20, 30 and 38, with Lucky Stars 4 and 7. No tickets matched the full line to land the €139.2 million jackpot, but 61,458 Irish players were amongst the 2.4 million total prize winners.

The biggest Irish winner on the night was the participant in the ‘Match 5’ category who picked up €35,104. Check out the EuroMillions Results page to see a full prize breakdown from the latest draw, as well as details of the EuroMillions Plus draw.

There have only been six draws since the jackpot was last won, but a Superdraw was scheduled for last Friday to boost the top prize to a guaranteed €130 million. Excitement is now building with each draw as the jackpot grows closer to its €190 maximum.

Where You’d Rank With Jackpot Win?

No Irish player has ever won more than the €115.4 million pocketed by Dolores McNamara in July 2005, but a ticket holder from the Emerald Isle did share a prize of €187 million with someone from Belgium in June 2013.

The current jackpot is so large that it would instantly catapult you to a level of wealth beyond many famous faces. According to the Sunday Times Rich List 2018, One Direction’s Horan is worth €52 million and legendary actor Neeson is worth €113 million.

Even UFC superstar McGregor, who earned about €80 million from his fight against Floyd Mayweather, is reported to be worth less than the EuroMillions jackpot, with a fortune of around €100 million.

How To Improve The Chances of Winning

You will need to beat odds of 1 in 139,838,160 to win the jackpot and join that sort of company, and there are various different ways you might want to go about playing EuroMillions. Whether you want to study statistics from previous draws, trust your lucky numbers or generate a random line is up to you, but you could also try joining a syndicate to boost your odds of winning.

By teaming up with other players, you are effectively entering more lines into the draw and giving yourself more ways to win. The cost of taking part is also split between everyone in the group. Winnings are shared as well, but the jackpot is at such a colossal level that you would still take home an incredible payout.

Playing in syndicates is already a popular option in Ireland, and in the last few weeks alone there have been some notable group successes. A Cork syndicate claimed the €8.3 million Irish Lotto jackpot from 4th August, before work colleagues from Dublin pocketed €4.7 million on 29th August.
