A Christmas Millionaire Raffle player from Wexford woke up as a millionaire at the start of 2018 after their ticket claimed the top prize in the eagerly anticipated annual draw. The location at which the lucky ticket was purchased has now been announced, and the winner has 90 days to come forward and claim their money.

Christmas Millionaire Raffle Results

The Christmas Millionaire Raffle takes place every New Year’s Eve, and the 2017 draw promised to create 5,056 winners. The top prize was worth €1 million, and the number 054239 was randomly selected as the winner.

The ticket was bought at Flanagan’s Centra in Castlebridge, Co. Wexford, on Thursday 14th December, much to the delight of store owner Louis Flanagan. He said: “This is incredible news. It’s a dream start to the year for one of our lucky customers and I know it will bring a lot of excitement to the town as we extend our New Year’s celebrations.”

Flanagan added: “We are urging everybody in the area to check their tickets as soon as possible...Everybody in the shop is absolutely thrilled and we’ll be raising a glass to toast our lucky customer later today.”

The winning code for the second prize, worth €250,000, was 306241. The ticket was sold at Tarpey’s SuperValu on the Cootehill Road in Co. Cavan, just a day before the draw took place.
