EuroMillions Plus Winners Urged to Check Their Tickets

EuroMillions Plus Winners Urged to Check Their Tickets

Last Updated: Tuesday 27th September 2022, 12:13 pm

EuroMillions Plus players across Ireland are being urged to check their tickets as soon as possible as the deadlines for several jackpot prizes draw ever closer. EuroMillions participants in Ireland have 90 days to collect any prize, a deadline that could see a trio of winners miss out on €500,000 apiece.

Check Your Tickets

Good fortune smiled fondly on one ticket holder who purchased their entry in Meath, however, their luck could be about to run out if they do not contact National Lottery officials in the coming weeks. The player, who bought their entry from the Kilmoon Service Station in Ashbourne, matched the numbers 17, 31, 37, 40 and 46 to land the six-figure sum and has until the close of play on Friday 22nd December to claim, as the prize expires on Christmas Day, when the lottery offices are closed.

The win came on Tuesday 26th September,  a result that led the store’s manager, Irma Fimkute, to issue a rallying call: “As news spreads throughout the town, we have been inundated with our customers who are checking their tickets in the hope that they are one of the lucky winners,” she said. Unfortunately, the winner is still at large.

Another ticket holder who is facing a race against time to claim their prize acquired their ticket in Clare ahead of the draw on Friday 6th October. Despite matching the numbers 3, 22, 36, 38 and 45, the ticket holder has failed to appear and has until Thursday 4th January to come forward.

Despite the entry being bought at Barrys Mace in the small community of Blackwater in Ardnacrusha, store owner Lance O’Neill has no clue who the mystery winner could be: “It’s a small village and it would be lovely if it was somebody local who has won. But it could also have been anybody driving through going to East Clare.”

The final EuroMillions Plus player who needs to get their skates on matched the numbers 1, 14, 20, 24 and 44 on Tuesday 24th October. The playslip was purchased in Cork city centre at O’Reilly’s Maxol Service station and the lucky player has until Monday 22nd January to pay National Lottery officials in Dublin a visit.

The store’s owner, Aidan O’Reilly, was quick to issue a reminder to all of his customers:   "Despite our city centre location, we are a community based store with a lot of local customers so we would ask anybody who may have purchased a ticket for the draw to check their tickets as they could be a half a million Euro richer."

Lotto Plus 2 Joy

Yet another prize was added to the growing list of unclaimed prizes after a ticket holder correctly matched the numbers 5, 10, 13, 28, 33 and 43 in Wednesday evening’s Lotto Plus 2 draw. The prosperous player stands to receive €250,000 after securing the largest reward on a night that saw the Irish Lotto jackpot roll to €3 million.
