Irish Lottery Results for Saturday 28th March 2015

Last Updated: Thursday 29th July 2021, 14:08 pm

There were no winners of Saturday’s top prize as the jackpot rolled over once again, but Irish eyes were still smiling in thousands of homes across the country. The Irish Lotto jackpot had crept up to an enticing €9.2 million for anyone who could match all six numbers, but fans missed out on the scoop of a lifetime and will now have to wait for the midweek draw for another opportunity to join the millionaires’ club.

The set prize of €25,000 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball also went unclaimed, but 60 lucky players did manage to match five numbers and came away with €1,315 each.

More than 42,000 other ticket holders landed cash amounts in the main Lotto game, where the winning numbers were 2, 10, 18, 26, 39 and 43 with Bonus Ball 7.

There was also success in the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 games. There were two winners in the Match Five plus Bonus tier of Lotto Plus 1, rewarding each player €3,500, and another two players pocketed €2,500 in the same tier of Lotto Plus 2.

Check out the Lottery Results section for a breakdown of all the prizes from the main draw, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2, as the jackpot now heads towards €10 million.

The balls will be drawn again on Wednesday evening and entries must be in by 19.45 on the night.

The jackpot has been steadily escalating since Thursday 5th February, meaning there have now been 15 draws since it was last won. That does not increase the chances of anyone matching all six numbers next time, but if you feel it is due to happen, then why not throw your hat into the ring and get involved? Good luck!
